Red Hat has placed their trust in Strategic Security Solutions for the installation of the access control and CCTV systems in their new building in downtown Raleigh. The tower (formally the home of Progress Energy) is a 380,000 sq. ft. 19 story high rise in which over 1,000 employees will work by spring of 2013.
The system showcases a variety of our services to include proximity card access at a multitude of locations with integrated IP video. Security Entrance Lanes with high-speed retractable glass were installed in the lobby area. These not only enhance security but are esthetically pleasing and give the lobby a high-tech presence.
Strategic Connections installed the original cable infrastructure when the building was occupied by Progress Energy. This assisted greatly in our familiarity of the building as a whole.
